Music College TV 2014

It's been nearly three years since the last post and there is a lot of catching up to do!

The aim of this blog was always to inform, to share the development of our online music lessons.

The results of three years of research & development can be found here:

www.musiccollege.tv our YouTube channel that was set up in April 2013.

So why, after so many quiet weeks and months am I posting now?

I'm sure that I can speak on behalf of the whole team and say that despite the considerable amount of work and time that we invested in our original lessons, it was also a hugely inspirational and motivational time. As well as the creative content, we were constantly exploring new techniques in cameras, lenses, audio recording, mixing, monitoring, lighting, chroma key, streaming, live broadcasting etc.

The majority of that exploration is already documented here and the intention in writing now is to update from where we left off... but also to document phase 2, because yes, we are working on new lessons.

Virtually every piece of equipment that we used at the outset has been updated and replaced; new cameras, new audio interface, new microphones, new software.

The plan from here on is to discuss all of this and I am starting today with the cameras.
